C:\VIXERIUS\TERMS
Terms and conditions
These terms apply when you download or buy anything from Vixerius. They are written to be read, not to be survived.
Who you are dealing with
Vixerius is a trading name of Vixere, a sole trader business registered in the Netherlands and run by Christopher Cana. Contact details and registration numbers are on the contact page.
What you are buying
Digital audio files, delivered as a download. You are buying a licence to use them, not ownership of the recordings themselves. That licence is set out in full on the licence page and forms part of these terms.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in euros and include VAT where it applies. Payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Your order is confirmed once payment clears.
Delivery
Downloads appear on screen straight after payment and the same link is emailed to you. Links stay active for seven days. If yours expires or never arrives, email us and you get a fresh one. There is no limit on how often we will do that.
Refunds and the right of withdrawal
Under EU and Dutch consumer law you normally have fourteen days to change your mind. That right does not apply to digital content once the download has started, provided you agreed to that in advance. You give that consent at checkout, and by doing so you accept that the right of withdrawal ends the moment your download begins.
That is the legal position. In practice, if a pack is not what you expected, tell us within fourteen days and we will refund it. We would rather have an honest customer than a technically correct one.
If a file is corrupt, missing or not what the page described, you get a working file or your money back. Always.
Free packs
The free packs carry the same licence as everything else. You give an email address for them, and what we do with it is set out in the privacy policy. You can unsubscribe from any email we send, and doing so does not affect the licence on sounds you already have.
What we do not promise
The sounds are supplied as they are. We cannot guarantee that any particular sound suits your project, and we are not liable for indirect loss, lost profit or lost time. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your purchase is the one that was live when you bought. Licences already granted are never revoked or narrowed.
Law and disputes
Dutch law applies. If we cannot sort something out between us, the dispute goes to the competent court in the Netherlands. Consumers keep any rights they have under the law of their own country.
