C:\VIXERIUS\LICENCE
The licence
One licence covers everything on this site, free packs included. It is perpetual, royalty-free and worldwide. You pay once, or nothing at all, and that is the end of it.
What you can do
- Use the sounds in commercial games, films, videos, apps and installations.
- Use them in as many projects as you want, for as long as you want.
- Edit, pitch, layer, chop and process them however you like.
- Use them in work you make for a client, and in work you sell.
- Use them without crediting Vixerius anywhere.
What you cannot do
- Resell or give away the sound files themselves, on their own or inside another library.
- Include them in a product whose main purpose is to supply sounds to others.
- Use them as training data for a model.
- Register them, or a track built mostly from them, with a content ID system.
Why it is this short
Because there is nothing complicated to cover. Every sound was synthesised here, from nothing. There is no session musician to pay, no field recording with someone else's name on it and no dataset behind it. Nobody else has a claim to hand you later, so the licence does not have to defend against one.
The legal bit
The licence is granted to you, or to the company that bought it, and it stays with you. It cannot be transferred on its own, but it does travel with a project if that project changes hands. It cannot be revoked once granted. The sounds are supplied as they are, and Vixere is not liable for what happens in your project.
Anything you are unsure about, ask. A short answer by email is faster than a long clause here, and we would rather you knew.
